Hollar Advances To State Finals

Alexander Central Senior Golfer Aidan Hollar has qualified for the NC 4A Finals.

Hollar shot a 75 on Tuesday in the West Regional played at Brushy Mountain Golf Club in Taylorsville.

Charlotte Catholic won the Regional shooting a one-under-par 287. Hough advanced by finishing 2nd at 291. Ardrey Kell (292) will head to the finals after beating Charlotte Providence in a playoff.

Colin Salema of Charlotte Providence took medalist honors with a 69.

The State Championships will be played next week in Pinehurst.
