Hildebran Man Jailed In Alexander County

For the second time in about a month, a man from Burke County is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center.

33-year old Joshua Matthew Sigmon of Hidebran was placed in custody on Wednesday after being served warrants for failure to appear. He missed a court date for charges of breaking and entering of a motor vehicle in December after being charged earlier in 2023.

Sigmon is being held under a $50.000 secured bond.
