The North Carolina Highway Patrol arrested Hiddenite resident Andrew Brian Johnson, age 41, on Tuesday and charged him with reckless driving with wanton disregard. Johnson has been released on bond. In addition to the latest charge, Johnson has previous offenses pending that include unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and driving while impaired.
