Shannon Renee Crabtree, age 44, Dagenhart Frame Rd., Hiddenite, was arrested overnight by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. She has been charged with simple assault and three-counts of resisting arrest. Crabtree allegedly struck, pushed and bit Deputies while they were attempting to placed her in custody. As of this report, Crabtree is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with bond listed at $3,000.
