Hiddenite Resident Placed Behind Bars

Gregory Mack Jr, age 32 of Hiddenite, was apprehended on Thursday, August 7th. The charges include assault on a female, assault by communicating threats and larceny after breaking and entering. Mack is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center. Bond is listed for $10,000.

Mack also awaits trial after he was arrested in January for breaking and entering and driving while license revoked. 2024 charges are also pending for felony obtaining property by false pretense, felony financial card theft, stalking and domestic criminal trespass.
