Alexander County Man Jailed Without Bond

A Hiddenite man is being held in custody.

On Monday, July 7th, 34-year-old Weldon Allen Seeds was detained by the Alexander County Office of Probation and Parole. He was cited for violating his registered-sex-offender status.

Seeds was convicted in 2024 of indecent liberties with a minor in Alexander County. He remains in the Alexander County Detention Center without bond.

No other information has been released.
