Hiddenite Man Jailed On Iredell County Warrant

Samuel Ray Lear Jr, age 44 of Hiddenite, was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center on Tuesday. He was served a warrant from Iredell County for failure to appear.

Lear is awaiting trial in Iredell County Superior Court for felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, shoplifting and resisting arrest.

As of earlier today, Lear remained in the Alexander County Jail with a listed bond of $22,500.
