Hiddenite Man Is Jailed Again

A Hiddenite man who led officers on a high-speed chase last month is back in jail.

43-year old Marty Joe Bryan was cited for failing to appear in court. He was also charged with resisting arrest. Bryan is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $26,000.

Bryan was arrested after a chase that reached speeds of 100 miles per hour in March. The chase ended when Bryan crashed the vehicle into a field in Eastern Alexander County.
