Joseph Carroll Matthews, age 47, of Hiddenite, was arrested on Thursday, October 30th and charged with felony and misdemeanor probation violations. He was also served a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of driving with license revoked. As of earlier today, Matthews remains in the Alexander County Detention Center with bond listed at $16,000.
