Rodney Lynn Southworth, 75, of Damascus Church Road, Hiddenite, was arrested on February 11th by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office. He’s charged with felony manufacture/possession of weapon of mass destruction, possession of firearm by a felon, communicating threats, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Southworth is being held in the Iredell County Jail with bond listed at $20,000. The next court date is March 3rd in Statesville.
