Hiddenite Man Gets 30 Days For Contempt Of Court

A Hiddenite man is spending a 30-day stint in the Alexander County Jail.

34-year old Joshua Allen Gunter of Hiddenite was sentenced on Monday after a judge cited him for contempt.

Gunter still has previous charges pending in Alexander County for larceny, second-degree trespass and possession of marijuana. He is scheduled to appear on those charges on Monday, April 14th.
