Michael Chad Rood, age 38 of Hiddenite, was arrested by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office on November 23rd. He was charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and felony first-degree burglary. He is no longer listed in custody. A January 13th court date is scheduled in Statesville.
