A Hidenite man was arrested last week by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. He was served warrants from Catawba County. 49-year old George Henry Overton is now in custody in the Catawba County Detention Center under a bond of $1,000. He will appear in Catawba County District Court on Tuesday, September 5th facing charges of larceny and probation violation.
