Hiddenite Man Charged Following Reported Weekend Assault

Norman Anthony Warren Jr., 49, Vic CT., Hiddenite, was arrested on Saturday by Deputies with the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. The charges include

3 counts of assault on a female
2 counts of assault with a deadly weapon
Communicating threats

Warren is being held without bond in the Alexander County Detention Center with a first court appearance scheduled for Monday in Taylorsville.
