Hiddenite Man Arrested On Felony Drug And Probation Charges

A Hiddenite man was arrested on Wednesday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies went to a location where Justin Lee Pope, age 21, was located to serve a pair of warrants for felony probation violation. He was taken into custody and was also found to be in possession of schedule II controlled substance (fentaynl) and drug paraphernalia. Pope was placed in the Alexander County Jail with a secured bond of $35,000. A court appearance is scheduled for Monday, April 24th in Taylorsville.
