23-year old Jerry Dale Lackey of Hiddenite was taken into custody early Friday morning by Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies and charged with simple assault. Lackey was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center and later released under a bond of $1,500. No court date is listed.
