Hiddenite Man Arrested For Sending Improper Messages To Minor

Tommy Wayne Scronce, age 60 of Hiddenite, was taken into custody on Monday, October 14th by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. He’s charged with disseminating harmful material to a minor. The charge involves the accused using social media to send a message or messages to a minor. Scronce is being held without bond in the Alexander County Detention Center.

Scronce has a number of previous charges pending that include driving while impaired and driving with license revoked.

A court date has not yet been listed.
