A Hickory woman is facing a series of felony drug charges after her arrest Tuesday. Newton Police arrested 40 year old Laura Marie Caldwell on felony charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of controlled substance on jail premises, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance, and other drug counts. Caldwell was placed in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $10,000. She is scheduled to make a court appearance today.
