Watina Ann Haynes, age 47 of Hickory, was taken into custody on Wednesday in Alexander County. She was served Catawba County arrest warrants for simple assault and two counts of failure to appear on charges of driving with license revoked. Haynes was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $4,000.
