Amber Nicole Lunsford, age 35 of of Hickory, was arrested on Friday by the Hickory Police Department. She faces a charge of felony intentional child abuse inflicting serious bodily injury. Lunsford was placed in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $100,000. She is slated to make an initial court appearance on Monday, May 15th in Catawba County District Court.
