Hickory Woman Arrested In Alexander County On Warrants From Catawba And Iredell Counties

Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 40-year old Daphne Regina Walsh of Hickory on Friday, September 10th on outstanding warrants from Catawba County. The warrants include charges of larceny of chose in action, forgery, possession of a counterfeit instrument, obtaining property false pretense, and misdemeanor larceny. She also faces a charge of identity theft in Iredell County and possession of controlled substance on jail premises. After being held in the Alexander County Detention Center Walsh has been transferred to the Catawba County Jail. Her bond is set at $76,000. She was scheduled to appear in Catawba County District Court on Monday.
