Hickory Teen Surrenders To Police On Attempted Murder Charge

A Hickory teen wanted for attempted murder has turned himself in to Police.

18-year old Toland Huff Jr. is charged with attempted murder and discharging a firearm into occupied property in connection to a shooting that occurred at the Sunny Valley Apartments on Tuesday afternoon.

Multiple rounds were fired into a pair of apartments. One apartment was occupied at the time according to a news release from the Hickory Police Department. No one was struck with the gunfire.

The investigation is ongoing.
