The Hickory Police Department is investigating a shooting overnight.
A juvenile suffered life-threatening injuries as result of the gunfire that took place just before 7:30 pm at a location on South Center Street at 1st Ave. SE.
A suspect shot into the car the juvenile was occupying according to a press release.
The victim was airlifted to a regional medical facility.
No information regarding a suspect has been released.
