Hickory Police Nab Taylorsville Man

Cody Adam Bateman, age 33 of Taylorsville, was arrested Friday by Hickory Police. He’s charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of stolen goods, misdemeanor larceny and misdemeanor probation violation. Bateman is being held in the Catawba County Detention with a secured bond of $6,000. A court appearance is scheduled for Monday, November 14th in Catawba County District Court.

Update: A charge of financial card fraud has been added by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office. Bond is now set at $7,000.
