The Hickory Police Department is investigating what they’re terming a “suspicious death.”
29-year-old Laura Matthews was found deceased in her home Sunday morning. Her residence is located on 8th Avenue S.E.
No information has been released as to the cause of death but Hickory Police is asking for the public’s assistance for information regarding the case.
