Anthony Lee Fox, age 31 of Dover Church Road in Taylorsville, was arrested Thursday by Hickory Police. He was charged with obtaining property by false pretense and served with arrest warrants for failure to appear. The original charges were for larceny and obtaining property by false pretense. He was placed in the Catawba County Detention Center with a secured bond of $17,200. Fox is scheduled for a Monday, July 26th court appearance in Newton.
