The Hickory Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that was reported overnight.
Officers responded to a location in the 400 block of Third Avenue SE around 9:30 pm.
One person was airlifted to a regional medical center. The second victim was taken to an area hospital.
No arrests have been made.
The investigation is ongoing.
