Robert Dijuan Nelson, age 58 of Hickory was apprehended by Hickory Police Officers following a vehcile chase this morning. He charged with felony trafficking in cocaine, assault with a deadly weapon and felony flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle. Nelson is being held without bond in the Catawba County Jail and is scheduled to make an initial court appearance today in Newton.
