Hickory Police arrested 44-year old Jamario Emontie Allread of Claremont early Sunday morning. He facing charges of assault on a female, assault by strangulation, second-degree trespass, felony possession of cocaine, assault on a government employee and resisting arrest. Allread is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $17,000 and is scheduled to appear in Catawba County District Court on Monday.
