Hickory Police arrested a Wilkes County woman early Sunday morning. 30-year-old Deanna Karlene Loper of Congo Rd., Wilkesboro, was served a warrant from Ashe County for felony trafficking opium or heroin. Loper is being held in the Catawba County Jail with a secured bond listed for $500,000.
