This morning, Hickory Police arrested 25-year old Dexton Markez Banner of Taylorsville. He was charged with shoplifting/concealment of goods, resisting a public officer, and served him with a warrant for larceny of a motor vehicle. Banner is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center with a secured bond of $9,000. A court date is set for Thursday, May 27th on the vehicle larceny charge.
