Hickory Pharmacy Damaged When Vehicle Strikes Building

A vehicle struck a Hickory business on Tuesday.

Shortly before 9:30 am, the Hickory Fire Department and Hickory Police responded to a report of a vehicle that had struck Medical Center Pharmacy on North Center Street. Upon arrival, firefighters found a passenger vehicle had struck the building, causing significant structural damage.

Two businesses were evacuated during the incident. No injuries were reported.

Hickory firefighters secured the structure with temporary support columns until repairs could be made. The first floor was rendered safe for use by business employees upon completion.
