Hickory Man Serving Suspended Sentence Arrested In Alexander County

A Hickory man is being held in Alexander County custody. On Friday, May 29th, Kanye Lavance Alford-Bruce, age 22, was detained on three-counts of felony probation violation. He is being held without bond in the Alexander County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in District Court on Monday, June 1st in Taylorsville.

The suspect is serving a 60 month suspended sentence after being convicted in Alexander County on charges of felony larceny of larceny of motor vehicle and multiple counts of felony larceny of firearm.
