A man was killed as the result of a crash on Saturday in Hickory.
The accident was reported just before 11:30 am.
David Vincent Flowers, age 55 of Hickory, was killed in what Hickory Police are calling a head-on collision on Lenoir-Rhyne Boulevard . The investigation says the pickup truck that Flowers was operating crossed the center-line and struck a vehicle driven by a Morganton woman. The female and a passenger were said to have sustained injuries.
No charges have been filed.
