A Hickory man was arrested and charged by Hickory Police on Thursday. Charles Sonny Hill, age 39, faces counts of felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of heroin, felony possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony breaking and entering a motor vehicle, resisting a public officer, and a pair of failure appear offenses. Hill has been placed in the Catawba County Detention Center with a secured bond of $16,000. He will make an initial court appearance today in Newton.
