Hickory Man Jailed On Felony Drug Charge In Alexander County

Joshua Brian Dawson, age 39 of Hickory, was arrested by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office on August 7th. He’s charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest. Dawson has a previous charge pending in Catawba County for felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/ deliver schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving with license revoked. Dawson remains in the Alexander County Jail under a secured bond of $10,000.

An Alexander County District Court appearance is scheduled for today. The next court appearance for Dawson in Catawba County is scheduled for August 13th.
