Hickory Man Held In Alexander County Jail

A Hickory Man was arrested on Friday in Alexander County.

41-year old Matthew Charles Day was charged with failure to appear. He had missed court dates for obtaining property by false pretense and placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $30,000. As of earlier today he remains in custody, Day has a court appearance scheduled for January 8th in Taylorsville.
