of Hillstar Drive in Hickory was arrested Monday by authorities in Gaston County. He’s charged with second-degree kidnapping, assault inflicting serious bodily injury, breaking and entering with intent to terrorize or injure, felony larceny of a motor vehicle, felony larceny, larceny of a firearm, extortion, and domestic violence protective order violation. Hicks was jailed in the Catawba County Detention Facility without bond. A District Court date was scheduled for today.
