Zong Shia Yang, age 34 of Hickory was arrested on Saturday by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office. He’s charged with felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle, felony breaking and entering a motor vehicle, felony conspiracy, felony possession of methamphetamine, felony probation violation, providing fictitious information to officer and driving with license revoked. Yang is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $63,000. A Tuesday, January 16th court date is scheduled in Newton.
