Daniel Javarr Lipscomb, age 30 of Hickory, was arrested Tuesday by Hickory Police and charged with possession of a firearm by a felon. He is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $10,000. Lipscomb is scheduled for a court appearance today in Newton.
