Hickory Man Facing Charges In Alexander,Gaston And Mecklenburg Counties

A Hickory man was served Alexander County arrest warrants on Monday.

36-year old Kenneth Steve Bennett was arrested by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office. He charged with felony possession of burglary tools, misdemeanor larceny and tampering with a motor vehicle in Alexander County and is being held in Alexander County Custody with a secured bond of $21,400.

Bennett has a long list of pending charges in Gaston and Mecklenburg Counties. The charges range from felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling or place controlled substance, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver marijuana and breaking and entering. Bennett has an Alexander County court date set for today in Taylorsville.
