Charles Douglas Benson, age 33, of Hickory, was taken into custody in Alexander County on December 19th after being served warrants from Catawba County for felony possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is no longer listed as an inmate in Alexander County. Benson also has a pending September charge of driving with license revoked in Alexander County.
