Hickory Man Charged With Felonies Involving Child Pornography

A man from Hickory has been arrested on charges related to the possession and distribution, via the internet, of child pornography. 22-year-old Jacob David Hamby of 4th ST Court SW, was apprehended by Hickory Police on Friday. He’s charged with 10 felony counts each of second and third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

Hamby is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center under a combined secured bond of $200,000.
