Devonte Jerille Forney, 31 of Hickory, was taken into custody this morning on felony drug charges. Forney was arrested by Hickory Police and charged with felony trafficking in cocaine and felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substance. Bond was set at $100,000 and Forney remains in the Catawba County Detention Center with first court appearance scheduled for today in Newton.
