Edward Leroy Bailey, age 47 of Hickory, was taken into custody on Tuesday. He was arrested by Hickory Police on charges of possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver schedule II controlled substance and possession of a firearm by a felon. Bailey is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center under a secured bond of $35,000. A Wednesday court date is listed.
