Hickory Man Arrested On Charge Of Sex With Student

A Hickory man was arrested early today and charged with a felony sex-act with a student.

Herlinton Ramon Blandon Rugama, age 32, was taken into custody by Hickory Police this morning. The charges filed include felony sex act with a student and felony indecent liberties with a student. According to arrest documents the suspect is listed as a coach at Draughn High School in Burke County. A first appearance in court is scheduled for today.
