54-year-old Timothy Frederick Phillips, of 26th Avenue NE in Hickory was arrested Sunday, January 11th by Caldwell County Sheriff’s Officers. He’s charged with felony counts of assault on a government official inflicting serious injury, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, and flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle. Phillips was jailed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under $80,000 secured bond. A court date is scheduled for January 29.
