Hickory Couple Nabbed By Taylorsville Police

A Catawba County couple are facing charges following their arrest by Taylorsville Police early Monday morning.

31-year old Courtney Danielle Hill of Hickory is charged with felony possession of schedule I controlled substance, possession of schedule III and VI controlled substances, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and giving fictitious information of a police officer. Hill was placed the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $20,000. She has a court date scheduled for October 18th in Alexander County District Court.

33-year old Dustin Allen Morton of Hickory is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and giving fictitious information to a police officer. He is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $4,500. A November 15th court date is scheduled.
