He’s Been In Jail Far More Often Than Otis

One of the Alexander County Jail’s most familiar faces in back in custody.

34-year-old James Edward Cook, Mountain View Dr., Taylorsville, was served at least 11 warrants for failure to appear on Friday. The suspect has a long history of criminal activity and convictions. Court documentation indicates that Cook has over 30 current charges that are pending. As of earlier today, Cook is being held in the detention center with bond set at $50,000.
