As reported last week, Kenneth Alan Korte, age 58, Princess LN., Hiddenite, was arrested on May 26th and charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a $25,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Monday in Taylorsville. When he did not show, an order for arrest was issued. Alexander County Deputies returned him to custody where his bond is now $150,000. As of this report, Kort remains in jail.
